This page consolidates important legal disclosures, product use guidelines, and limitation of liability information for the Clairety™ platform operated by ClinicThink LLC. Clairety subscribers are also subject to a separate Subscription Agreement which governs the commercial relationship between ClinicThink and the subscribing practice.
Clairety Is an Operational Intelligence Platform
Clairety is an operational intelligence platform designed to help dental practices organize operational knowledge, manage operational processes, and provide staff with practice-specific guidance based on information maintained within the platform. Clairety converts internal documents, standard operating procedures, policies, scripts, and workflows into an interactive decision-support system for practice staff.
Not an EHR or Practice Management System
Clairety is not an electronic health record, dental practice management system, clinical documentation system, or patient record system. It is not designed to replace, interface with, or supplement clinical systems used for patient care documentation.
No Protected Health Information
Clairety is designed to operate without Protected Health Information. Users should not enter or upload patient names, dates of birth, clinical records, medical histories, treatment information, insurance information tied to an identifiable patient, or other PHI into Clairety. ClinicThink is not a HIPAA Business Associate and does not execute Business Associate Agreements in connection with the Clairety platform.
Uploading PHI into Clairety constitutes a material breach of the Clairety Subscription Agreement. The subscribing practice assumes full responsibility and liability for any PHI uploaded by its staff.
AI-Generated Information
Certain Clairety functionality uses artificial intelligence to analyze operational information and generate responses, summaries, recommendations, alerts, or other content. Artificial intelligence can produce incomplete, inaccurate, or unexpected results. Output is probabilistic in nature — the same query may produce different responses at different times, and responses depend on the quality and completeness of information maintained in the platform.
Users are responsible for reviewing Clairety-generated information and exercising appropriate professional judgment before relying upon it. ClinicThink may change, update, or replace the underlying AI models or providers at any time without notice.
Operational Guidance — Not Professional Advice
Clairety provides operational information and decision support based on documents and materials uploaded by the customer. Information generated by Clairety does not constitute medical, dental, clinical, legal, accounting, tax, regulatory, HIPAA, OSHA, or other professional advice. ClinicThink makes no guarantee of any specific business, financial, operational, staffing, scheduling, compliance, productivity, or profitability outcome resulting from use of Clairety.
Compliance Tools
Clairety provides tools intended to assist practices in organizing and monitoring compliance-related information, including HIPAA documentation, OSHA logs, staff credentials, equipment maintenance records, incident logs, and audit-readiness materials. These tools do not constitute legal or regulatory advice and do not guarantee compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, state dental board requirements, infection control requirements, employment laws, or other applicable laws or regulations.
The practice remains solely responsible for determining its legal and regulatory obligations and for maintaining compliance with all applicable requirements. ClinicThink recommends that practices consult qualified legal, compliance, or regulatory counsel regarding their specific obligations.
Alerts & Reminders
Clairety may provide reminders, expiration notices, maintenance alerts, credential alerts, compliance alerts, and other automated notifications. These features are provided as administrative aids and should not be relied upon as the practice’s sole mechanism for satisfying regulatory, licensing, maintenance, safety, or other obligations. The practice remains responsible for maintaining its own independent tracking and verification processes.
Customer-Provided Information
Clairety’s responses and guidance depend upon documents, policies, procedures, and other information supplied by the customer. ClinicThink does not independently verify the accuracy, completeness, or currency of customer-provided information. Customers remain responsible for maintaining accurate and current information within the platform. Guidance generated from inaccurate or outdated source materials may itself be inaccurate or outdated.
Security
ClinicThink uses commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect customer information stored within the Clairety platform. No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security. Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for promptly revoking access for departed staff members.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClinicThink LLC and its officers, members, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or reliance on Clairety, including but not limited to damages arising from AI-generated output, compliance tool results, alerts and reminders, or customer-provided content. ClinicThink’s total liability to any customer is limited as set forth in the applicable Subscription Agreement.
Intellectual Property
ClinicThink, Clairety, and all associated software, interfaces, workflows, AI architecture, prompt engineering, decision logic, branding, content, and related technology are owned by ClinicThink LLC or its licensors. All rights are reserved. Customers receive only the limited license to use Clairety as set forth in their Subscription Agreement. Nothing on this page or elsewhere on ClinicThink’s websites grants any additional rights in ClinicThink’s intellectual property.
Governing Law
These disclosures and any disputes arising from use of Clairety are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Disputes between ClinicThink and subscribing customers are subject to the dispute resolution provisions of the applicable Subscription Agreement.
